全景武陵源
從曆史上來說，武陵源古屬邊地，當時交通閉塞、舟車隔絕、人迹罕至而鮮爲外人所知。後(hòu)因常德地區舊稱武陵郡。秦以前，今武陵源所在地屬黔中郡，從漢代起(qǐ)很長(cháng)的曆史時期，曾歸武陵郡管轄。民國(guó)時期先屬武陵道(dào)，後(hòu)分屬湖南省第二、第四、第八行政督察區。
